On Sunday Europe was coming through on 15 meters 2-1/2 hours before sunrise, and
possibly earlier than that.

Unexpected fun on 15m. Not so much sharing 40m with 3C1L and SS.

Modest effort and a visiting Mrs Aurora. The magnetic line(s) are from my QTH in
the Ukraine direction making the URDXC a nice contest with mostly open bands.
Unfortunately, noting much is heard from the sides of the line(s) leaving the
Mults at a low level.

80Qs on 80. Just a couple of hours to test 80m. Conditions were not the best
with high noise level and fluttering signals.

See you in CQWW CW

W3EP   SO Mixed HP   251,8562017-11-05 07:38:45
Contest started off as expected: 15m and 20m already open to Europe and had all
the signs of good conditions the rest of the day, but the propagation did not
last. By 2PM local (1800 UTC), signals on 20 and 15 were fading fast and an
hour later, there was not much to work. When the US Sweepstakes contest started
at 2100 UTC, the bands filled with eager US contesters and it was difficult to
find any UKR DX stations. Still, fun while it lasted. S&P a few strong
Europeans on 20 & 15 early in the morning, 0900-1200 UTC.

A lot of problems hit our location, 1 PA & 1 radio down after a couple of
hour from the start, 1 blackout and we lost about 5 hours to fix them, but we
finished the game, CU on next contest by Oriental Sicily Contest Team

Only for fun this year, due some work-activities at station. Nice contest with
lot of pile ups. 160/80 bands with atmospheric QRN caused by the storm in
southern Europe.
Thanks for all QSOs! Tomas OL5W / OK1IC

It was long time ago, when was the last time I did SO. So this was just doing
what I love and having fun, during contest. Of course everything wasn't
perfect. Propogation showed itself once again, some times it were really good,
but some times, it was terrible. I was hoping for 160m and 80m, but the bands
were dead, even 80m with new antena. Full size wire delta. It works pretty
good, but not in this propogation right now.
But anyway, I haved fun this weekend.
TNX for QSO's.

Part-time remote operation with 3 operators sharing the SK3W site. We used only
one radio.

Thanks to Gunnar SM3SGP for making it possible to use the station. It was fun!
