Could not devote as much time as last year, but always fun. 80 meters was very
poor to EU from here.

Only active on 10 and 15 Meters. Testing my antenna before the Scandinavian
Activity Contest in a few weeks. Nice to find stations on both bands, but only
a few outside Europe.

It was a nice surprise to see reasonable propagation on 10 and 15m bands.
Good participation of YO and non-YO stations led to good scores, counting
several calls with QSO count over 1000. It could have been even better, but we
know that other contesters preffered SCC-RTTY this weekend.
Tight race with YP9W, YQ6A, YR9F and YP8T, on CQContesT.net/livescore,
motivating me to stay in the chair till the last second of the contest.
Thanks all for calling me and see you in next contest. 73, Alex YO9HP

On my way home from visiting Mom & family in WV. I setup at my hotel in
Gastonia for a few more KS and OH QSO Party Qs and heard EU in this contest.
Only one station was able to complete the exchange with me though...it was fun
trying though!!

This was another WQ6X remote operation from NX6T in Fallbrook.
I made 1 QSO on 40 meters and then encountered equipment problems.
By the time I was back on the air, Europe was gone.

Note: D1's and dupes are not included in QSO count neither final result.

Much better propagation than last weekend. On second day some stations were
refusing to copy my four digit serial number and after trying few times were
sending SRI NIL :)

This is a fine contest at the end of the summer.
Although the solar flux reached 90 recently, propagation was not too helpful.
Luckily, I have made a few Qs on 15 m, but I couldn't hear any station in this
contest on 10 m. The 80 m band was below the expectations and I suspect EU had
a harder time to hear weak signals, caused by some local storm systems
probably.
However, participation was good and I enjoyed working many YO stations and
multipliers.
Many thanks go to Steve NR4M for allowing me to use again his great station.

Surprising propagation but I had some technical issues with my interfaces that
prevented me to use PC based audio messages.
Nex year I'll be back!
