One of the better evenings from here. Tnx for QSOs de Marko
NA8V   Single Op LP   6902017-10-12 20:03:47
That didn't go well. I'd like to blame it on condx but that wouldn't be
entirely accurate. The west coast was almost as loud on 80 as 40.

K6NV   Single Op LP   5602017-10-12 20:04:36
80m unusually quiet here tonight. Got my 160m antenna fixed today, the coax
connector had come unscrewed and was on the ground, easy fix. TNX for the
K4OAQ   Single Op LP   1822017-10-12 20:04:51
I had the feeling my feed line wasn't connected to anything, except maybe my
Yaesu FTDX1200, G5RV dipole up 35 ft
Tks for the Qs

Yes the PGE noise is still on.
KZ5D   Single Op LP   1,9602017-10-12 20:07:17
Hey this was fun even with the 4 or 5 K index. Thought 15 would be more
productive. Rag chewing wiht Na5G before the bell, and K9FN called with a good
report. Did log W0BH on 15 besides Ed. Great to hear some of the newer guys
come back for more fun-K4OAQ and KM9R. Make it a regular habit! Had a great
start, but managed to fizzle out at the end. 5 minute segments: 11-9-10-10-5-4.
Could not find a new Q in the last 3 minutes. Heard good signals on 160 but the
same handful I worked. There's always something to improve on each week.
KW8N   Single Op LP   1,8332017-10-12 20:07:24
Not so many bands to work folks on these days...
WØBH   Single Op LP   1,8502017-10-12 20:07:32
Great conditions tonight. Super loud KZ5D and NA5G (LA) on 15. Worked Art on 4
bands and heard but missed him on 160. Did work NA5G on 160, so LA on 5 bands
:-) Thinking about CA with the fires.

W8WTS   Single Op LP   1,5962017-10-12 20:08:47
20 m was DOA here; I should have gone to 160 m earlier. I heard N6ZFO and AA7V
on 160 m but could not get through.
N4EEV   Single Op LP   4182017-10-12 20:10:10
K3 and a dipole @ 35ft. 4 Q's on 20 with a pretty poor band. 40 is usually great
here, but was also pretty poor with only 4 Q's. 80m was fairly decent but still
a lot of weak stations, and less than normal. 160 was not to be had as I only
heard a few ops and they couldn't here me. I had fun considering condx. Thanks
for the QSO and CU next week. 73, Mike
KEØTT   Single Op QRP   3202017-10-12 20:13:54
K1 at 5 watts to a pair of selectable dipoles at right angles, up about 45 to
50'. Hmmm 40M was excellent, but only to about half the Sprinting stations. I
couldn't hear the other half at all. 40M seemed more like 20M with several CA,
WA, LA, NV, and so on. 80M was also excellent, and worked stations everywhere,
except here in MN and a few miles to the south, IA. Oh well, good fun. Thanks
for your copy of my QRP, as always. BIG SIGS: 40M wj9b, and 80M: kw8n. Both of
you: Deafening! C U next time, 73, Dan ke0tt
W9RE   Single Op LP   1,8362017-10-12 20:22:18
Heard a loud NA5G 5 minutes before start but band really went out at start and
he couldn't hear me. Sorry for being out of sync tonight.

Thanks for being there guys!

Conditions OK tonite, 40 good, 20 ok, 80 was decent, and 160 is getting to
winter conditions, thanks for the Q's, 73 Todd WD0T
KØTG(@KØTG/Ø)   Single Op LP   42017-10-12 22:05:46
My lowest score ever! I am up on the north shore of Lake Superior so being even
further north with these condx and a portable antenna don't help.

Glad two people heard me. N4AF on 40 and N0AT on 80. There, that is the whole
log! :)

K7SS   Single Op QRP   6092017-10-12 22:08:44
QRP w/ K index 4.
maybe next week will be better condx.

N6ZFO   Single Op LP   1,0442017-10-13 01:47:43
Forgot to re-configure antennas after CQP, so lost some precious minutes doing
so. Score could have been worse!

Very sad news of lost stations and houses for at least three local club members
in Sonoma County to the west of us.

Gone next two weeks. . will be touching base with KZ5D, NO5W and possibly WQ5L
on our Mississippi and Louisiana trip.
