Ran with SO2R QRP Configuration (r1) FT840+3El Yaqui (r2) FT100 + 3El Yagui, 5W
output controlled. Contest start with superb conditions and good rates for the
first 3-4 Hours. Then a solar storm (proton flux) followed by a couple of minor
flares deteriorated both the conditions and the noise level. Very difficult to
work QRP on 20 and lower bands, marginal at 15 mts and mediocre at 10 mts.
Condx improved a little on Sunday but the lower band didn't quite recovered.
Other factos limited the number of hours sit at the station which makes for the
overall score to be in the lower bounds of what I'd planned for, surely less
than past year. Hpe all OMs did enjoy the contest.

Hello guys.
Very nice Contest, despite of poor propagation from my site.
Thank you all guys for the QSOs and hope to see you in 3 days from Fernando de
Noronha Island, when I will operate as PY0F/PP1CZ.
Best 73 from PP1CZ.

10m showed extremley good propagation after 24 hours I passed my 2013 #1 SOSB
10m raw score.
Got almost all multipliers that Ed had promised, missed SU1SK and E51AND was
hard to get.
Chinese stations were busy with their WECP? contest and the Russians with
Thanks to all SA stations that called and gave me prefix multipliers.
I feel that we properly made good propaganda for PY and S.Am contesting.
A big hug to PY2DM for lending me the shack and all fine antennas.

Well, the quantity of QSOs was not only due to the propagations but also to
that the power-line noise has been fixed. Thank you Fabio, PY2BK for your
successful efforts!
Thanks for al QSOs Thomas, PY2ZXU, SM0CXU
VE1RGB   SOAB LP   247,5542014-04-20 17:59:32
Conditions for this contest were ideal for my Elecraft P3 to perform its best.
Signals were many but they were well widely separated across the first 50 KHz
of any given band, and new multipliers were constantly sprouting up. It was
hard to keep up. It was multiplier whack-a-mole for an S&P operator.
Furthermore, three bands were open at once and all were exhibiting the same
kind of behavior as sources of juicy multipliers. Compounding the program was
serious rapid QSB.

There is no way in the world I would have caught as many of the multliers as I
did had I not been able to see them, or the traces of where they had been last
were heard. The panadapter saved needless wasted tuning effort which could
then be applied to improving the throughput.

That eased the pain of living through the effect of 3 live CMEs.

1st. time on this enjoyable test. Propagation conditions noticeable better on
Sunday. Nice to work D3AA on two bands.
K6CSL   SOAB LP   7682014-04-20 19:28:24
I squeezed time from other needs to get on for what I could of this event. In
the past it has been a fun contest, with a much better score. (2012-33 x
5=2,100) This contest was really messed up by the Solar Flare on Friday, the
CME of which struck this afternoon, virtually killing the bands. Sometimes old

Conditions were exceptionally poor -- worked a small handful of EU station on
Saturday, but nothing like my personal best in 2011. Just not a lot of contacts
to be had pointing in any direction this weekend from the northwest.

Thanks for the nice contest!
I'm start in this year 12Z Sunday , because YUDX is also start 21Z 19 April
Next year will be start early
Condx is variable not stable... My equipment not is good for work in 15m
Better work 40m ant only delta horizontal 3m up and wire 5m up lenght = 35m
Only 1 QSO with SA station may work only one prefix ///

K3, 5 meter wire with ATU (CG3000), DXLog 2.1

I was busy switching logging software between the different contest as they use
different exchange format.
In terms of exchange, I am not sure there is change in M/S or group as some
station sent "G", some sent "C", and DXLog refused to log
latter as invalid exchange.

Returning to contesting world after 15 years QRT
Full of news: N1MM, FT897, new home, conteesting without keyer only notebook.

It was fun, vertical antenna, 25W output and first with QSO XE1EE.
Thank you all.

This one was just for fun. Great signals on 10 Meters and fair amount of
activity. I spent a very short time in test. Nice to see EU on OC
participating besides SA and NA. All QSOs are CW.

for attaching a new run of RG8 coax to my beam on Thursday before the contest.
Conditions were pretty good here except on 80M where no contest activity was
heard and QRN was quite high. Thanks for all QSOs. Hope to work everyone this
next weekend in the Florida QSO Party

Fun contest, only spent Saturday handing out NAY points. 15 meters didn't seem
as open as it usually is, but none the less lots of fun.

Tons of fun, although there was some confusion since a number of SA stations
were sending the "SAC" suffix exchange that N1MM would not accept.
Upon doing a reality check, I found that this suffix is not listed in the
official rules. Hopefully this problem can be resolved for next year!
