Well, until time changes, I am the taxi service for my kids getting to school!
So limited time, but man a great run this morning for the short time. Condx
appear quite nice here... bands are long on 80 and 40.

Poor condx on 40...VE's very difficult. 20 was good and the one signal on 15
(K5AX) was excellent. Maybe 1900 will be better.

was really hot. Almost hated to go to 20 but had to. No EU this session.

Things seemed to be in fairly good shape this morning. Only new non-members
worked were Ed ON6PQ and Mitko LZ1XC. Great to work CWA student Phil G4NVR once
again. Also very pleased to work old Minnesota pal Tom N6BT. CU at 19Z

KMØO   Single Op HP   4,4082016-02-17 06:08:20
Really rough. Terrible conditions. Started the hour as LP, but after half an
hour of few s&p responses and folks CQing in my face, I finally turned on
the amp. Gets frustrating hearing eastern stations run EU when I can't hear a
peep from them. Big solar storm in progress.

Rig: K3 KPA500 Antennas: 6BTV-80m; DP-40m; C3E-20m.

That may be my best 1300 session so far, if I could only get up earlier would
have gotten a few more on 80m. Spring must be coming, starting to get a little
20m in the last 10-15 minutes. Back at 1900.

K3GHH   Single Op LP   1,5052016-02-17 06:11:45
It seemed as if condx were good but there wasn't a lot of activity.

N3AM   Single Op LP   4,0322016-02-17 06:12:11
First time with N1MM+ and still getting it set up, but it does a beautiful job
with Winkey in RemoteRig, eliminating a choppy CW problem that I had with N1MM
classic. Where was everybody on 80m? Local power line noise effectively wipes
out 15m and above, not that propagation was sufficient this time.

73,
John, N3AM

K3/100, HI-Q 4/80, 2002 Pathfinder, CQ/X 1.8.0.12

Nice conditions and activity on 80m and 40m but seem to take a while to get
going on 20m. Great fun as always. Hope to be QRV from the club station at
1900z.

Results are far less than what they could be. My Orion has some settings that
need a good tweaking. For example, this morning on 20m, I could copy N4AF a
good 15 KHz away from his calling freq. Sounds like static. Same for W4AU. I
know it's a filter skirt setting or something similar, but the main point is
that it is....

COCKPIT TROUBLE!!

Gotta fix this before the DX contest this weekend, for sure.

Anyway, I apologize to all who called me and I couldn't pull your signal out.
This horizontal loop is great, but it needs a good operator sitting underneath
it.

'Twas fun working several of you on 3 bands this morning...especially Dr. WHO
in AZ (W7SW in disguise)!

Now, I hope to hear y'all on again later today.
