It was pretty much a Sprint for the first hour. Then the XYL needed something at
the store. That took 30 minutes and when I returned the contest slowed to a
crawl. Worked very hard to get all six continents but could not find anyone in
Asia.

Not much heard here. Fighting some local noise as well. Running K3/100 into
vertical with N1MM/MMTTY/2Tone. Thanks for working me. 73, Jim, K5ND

Love the 75-baud format and hope there will be more 75-baud contests in the
future!

Had dozens of computer lock-ups with the messages such as: "VFO A Not
Responding", and "Soundcard Not Responding". Not sure what is
causing these lock-ups. I'd be grateful if you have any ideas to share. My
e-mail address: RLVZ@aol.com (the rig was a K3 with a Quad Core CPU running
N1MM Logger software)

If you were calling me and had a delay, I apologize for the problem and will
work to fix it.

Dick- K9OM

The first hour was fun, then 3 hours of endless CQs on one radio, trying to find
new blood on the other. Time frame not great for west coast: too late for EU,
too early for JA (did not work any JA or VK, and no SA). 40/80 useless at
mid-day. I did like the speed of 75 baud!

A contest that deserves more participants! The 75 baud really makes you WORK!
Good luck to the new contest manager. Hope she enjoys the job and get us a
result before the next contest!

K3, 5 meter wire with ATU (CG3000), Win-Test 4.11 + MMTTY

I really like speedy 75 RTTY. However, every time I tried, sending character is
not smooth. For some reason, TXing stuck for several seconds before PC(or
software) resume sending rest of characters. Because of this, I shut down
station earlier.
I hope I can set up correctly next time.

Thanks to BARTG for sponsoring the High Speed Sprint.
Lot of fun running 75 baud. Missed the SP RTTY Contest.
More of a choice as still getting over the approx. 40
hours of operating and over 3300 RTTY QSOs I was able
to put in the Virginia ARRL Centennial segment log. However
the 75 baud is always intreging from the speed of the
exchange etc. to not pass up.
Thanks to Aldo YV5AAX who provided the sixth continent mult.
two minutes before the end of the Contest.

Marginal band conditions throughout. Hope it will be better next time.

Always a fun contest. Funny how the brain gets used to the speed, by the 3rd
hour you can't really tell if your running 75 or 45 bauds.
Conditions were, funny to say, not good from here. 20M had a very high noise
floor that made it impossible to decode or even hear several signals coming in
during the first 2 hours. It got a bit better later. The first hour is always
the best but activity really takes a hit as you get into the 2nd, 3rd and 4th
hour.
Hope more and more ops will join the Bartg 75 contests in the future to make it
even more fun, you won't regret it. Thanks Bartg and all for the nice contest.

Conditions poor. Nothing heard/worked from Oceania and S America. Disappointing
as both worked during SP Rtty.

Thanks for all contacts and to organisers.

wave vertical wire, 80m full wave loop.
