GREAT conditions very low local noise on both 40 and 20. Could have easily made
20 Q's or more on 40, but just for the fish (halibut) decided to see if 20 was
open this early. And WOW, 3 land, 4 land, 2 land and an occasional west coast

Ran 99% of the time, got late to 20 but the rate was very high on 40.
good sigs from EU on 20.

Missed out on a lot of the regulars, even with a good tally I still saw plenty

Started 18 minutes late due to fetching car parts for the evening repair. Some
of the multiple spiky industrial noise generators had been switched on, so
jamming of the spectrum was perfect all the way up to 50 MHz. Europeans were
very weak and so was the USA-path, but again many new calls (not worked before)
popped up... Cheers/73, Zaba OH1ZAA

Hey that was fun! Was traveling late last night to make it home and get some
sleep to participate here today and was able to do it!

Here is my excuse. around :12 after the start and a decent 20m run, the CW
speed in N1MM+ started jumping faster and faster I had to keep PgDwn to reel it
back in... then I lost USB on... everything, including the SO2R Box, mouse,
keyboard. In haste, I tried to plug the keybd/mouse into other USB ports and
would hand send but nothing. Shut down computer, reboot (went outside, visited
with XYL, plugged in RV turned on Fridge in RV... pet cats... etc....) came
back and fired everything up, lost 24 minutes.

I was going to say that there was a extinct USB/Phone charging cable still
plugged into logging PC that was close to the shack feedlines that could have
been taking the RF hit since everything now worked - until about the last 2
minutes where the speed started jumping in N1MM again... Strange. Have been
setup for JT65 type modes in recent history (30m WAS completed this morning!) so
haven't had too much CW time in there...

Pretty cool to work some of you guys that we met up with at the CWOps Weekend
for sure!

73- Will try for 19z- Feeling wordy today I guess....

Back from a couple of weeks in KH6. Lots of Qs today, nice surprise. TU
K9ZO   Single Op HP   16,4972017-06-21 07:15:55
Started on 40. Slow start - only 3 QSOs the first 2 minutes and had to call CQ
for 10 times before getting QSO #2. There seemed to be a lot of strong
signals, although the west coast was not as strong as I would have liked. Skip
covered the entire USA. There were quite a few 3 QSO per minute periods. At
1340z the number of signals on the band dropped. Made a band change at 1345Z.
The last 5 minutes on 40 was good for 10 more mults.

Signals were strong and picked up 11 mults during the last 15 minutes. Perhaps
I was a bit late for the band change, but the last 15 minutes produced 35 QSOs.

New high QSO total for me.

Sorry for the short time effort this morning.

1. Overslept: I set the alarm last night before going to bed; however, this
dumb idiot set it for PM rather than AM. So, after finally getting to bed
around 3 AM (after writing some consulting reports), I didn't wake up until
8:10 CDT (1210z). Shoooooot!

2. 5 minutes into the CWT, my phone started ringing. Finally, after just 11
Qs, I turned down the volume and called it a day.
