KJ9C   Single Op HP   2,3002016-06-15 12:43:39
Pulled the plug with 20 minutes to go, as 40 meters was solid static crashes and
copy was rough...

K6RB   Single Op HP   2,0252016-06-15 12:44:00
Thanks for the Qs. Not much propagation on 15, so it was primarily a one-band
effort including a lot of multitasking. I was helping my wife give the new dog
a bath - running in and out - a real comedy show.

N3HEE/8   Single Op HP   92016-06-15 12:47:48
More cell phone remote fun. My wifi connection is pretty bad today so only made
a few contacts.

WN4AFP   Single Op LP   8992016-06-15 12:58:49
Trying out my brass racer paddle at 38 wpm today... The CWT is a great
opportunity to push your ce speed limits... I can contest copy around 48-50
wpm, but can only send with paddle around the 40-42 mark... 73s Dave WN4AFP

Whew..... Wild on 20. 20 was fun... I was on record breaking pace (about 110),
and switched to 40 which was terrible. Noisy and not many sigs. Finished on
20. Decent score, my best ever for 1900, but I don't work it much due to
work.

Thanks again for the Q's. One of my screens went out right in the middle of
things and lost my panadapter!

73 everyone...

20 meters was good to me with a good run of our friends in EU. 40 meters was OK
until the last five minutes and then slowed way down. I always seem to have
trouble at the end on 40.

Thanks, Dallas and Iz! Scanned 20 for an hour in high noise and QSB and heard 3
other stations. The only call I was able to copy was Will's WJ9B, but knew I'd
never be able to tell if he copied me or not. Zip on 15 (or, of course, 40,
checked once to be sure).

K3/100, Steppir 3 el @ 55ft, Vertical, CQ/X 1.8.0.12

For a session that almost did not make it due to some storms in the area and
quite a few static crashes it turned out to be one of my best 1900z sessions.
Great participation, I don't recall working 67 different stations on a single
band before. That speaks well for participation.

Thanks for the Qs and hanging with me when the static crashes occurred right
when you called.

N5AW   Single Op LP   9,9642016-06-15 13:07:51
Great start - 72 Q's in first half hour but knew it would not hold up. The well
went dry on 20 and in the middle of the day 40 is the pits down here. Second
radio at only 10 watts didn't help. Need to replace that connector in the
second K3 but not looking forward to it!

N5PHT   Single Op LP   1,7102016-06-15 13:08:18
Poor conditions on Mount Magazine. But still managed some fun and worked Nate,

K4HQK   Single Op HP   9572016-06-15 13:10:00
Got into the contest 10 minutes late, only to find 20 meters was not pleased
with me and allowed only a few readable signals into my vertical. The 40m
inverted-V, meanwhile, was hot. Wish I'd switched to it sooner than 1940Z.

Those are my excuses and I'm sticking to 'em!

FRIEND FRITZ, K4OAQ, FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A CWT AND HOPING HE WILL BECOME A

A good session from the MINI.....thanks all !

BEA shared between F6HKA (529) & N5AW (not even registering on the
S-Meter)

Only two guys who could not hear me (and I tried off and on for the time I was
on) was K6RB and W6AEA, but in all fairness, they were about 519 and I think
both are QRO fellas!

Not very many strong stations and lots of fills, but I had fun! DXE Box at door
has balanced antenna and balun/line isolator so lets hope I can get some small
level of improvement on band noise from the OCF dipole / RFI generator. Thank
you for the QSO.
