Whew! Great fun today. Really enjoyed getting Bill, KC4D mobile. Love to
hear about your setup.

Worked some new folks for me including KM0O twice. Conditions were OK, not
great, but good enough. 15 was open to EU and enjoyed picking up some of
them.

Thanks for the Qs this morning. The QSB on some signals was making copy
difficult at times. N5ZO was very strong into GA. What a great way to start the
day with a dose of CWT. See you at 1900 and 0300Z.

Fourty was full of Asian SSB QRM here so propagation must have been really long.
Signals from the east were weak but all could copy well. Fifteen was just
opening well when the bell rang. Thanks to all for another fun Wednesday
morning. 73, Rod/w7zrc

N1DC   Single Op LP   1,8042015-04-22 07:08:11

little on 15.

Thanks for the QSO's !

WB5EIN   Single Op LP   3,6302015-04-22 07:09:07
In spite of computer/interfacing problems early, I struggled on to this
morning's CWT....just in time to work AB5OR, my cross-town buddy/rival, Joe
Moffatt. He was having a very good run on his CQ freq, so I knew I was
trouble--BIG trouble.

Nonetheless, I persisted (remembering the words from Napoleon Hill in the great
book, 'Think and Grow Rich'). So, I grabbed a couple more from the
search-and-pounce pileups. Aha! There's a freq that is abandoned...so, let me
dump some piddly RF there with a CQ or three.

Many thanks to all who came back to my call. And, special thanks to those
whose call signs I totally bummed up when you called me. Just chalk it up to
my advanced status of LIDSmanship!

Congrats to Ken Waites, K5WK, for joining our fold this past week. Also, it's
super-great to work Gary, K5KU. And, I think we need to invite Gary, K8NYG, in
WV. Great op...and regular on CWTs.

Thanks to DX stations Jean, FG8NY, Lars, SM6CUK (smokin' signal), and standby,
Mike, F5IN.

What great fun....and I surely hope to see y'all some more.

Testing mobile setup getting ready for Florida QSO party. My trusty old Kenwood
TS-440SAT on bench in back seat of Kia Rondo, 100 watts to horizontally mounted
Hustler antenna atop 3 ft mag mounted mast. Hope to cover about 30 counties
this weekend with xyl, WB2VYK, driving.

Had a great time as usual. Thanks for the Qs. 73 Dale K3SEN

W4AU   Single Op LP   1,9742015-04-22 07:10:25
Again a slow start here. I was reading email from NCCC and saw a comment from
someone about how the CWT events were a lot of fun, glanced at the clock and
saw that it was 1305Z...

Of course, after about 15 minutes the XYL broght to my attention that the sump
pump in the basement was not working and that the water was rising. So another
15 or so minutes to respond to that. I hope the 1900Z time frame is better.

I still like these Wednesday CWTs!

K2 + auto-tuned 43' Vertical and Wellbrook loop for receiving.
I am glad that 40 meters is still open in the morning session. I expect it will
be less productive as the Summer season approaches.

WJ9B   Single Op HP   5,7332015-04-22 07:13:37
I lost about 12 minutes in this one when the computer shutdown, not once but
twice. I left at least one station hanging! Pardon-moi. Still, plenty of
snappy qsos on 40m and on 15m. CU 1900!

Foggy headed this morning! Nice to work Ron KH6DV again. Heard Dai JF2IWL on 20
but no Q, happily worked him on 15. So is there a red haired goddess operating
from Howie's place using his club call NY4A? Thanks for the Qs and cu at 19Z.

K3/100, HI-Q 4/80, 2002 Pathfinder, CQ/X 1.8.0.8

Slow start on 40m but things really picked up on 20m. I don't recall making
that many Qs on 20m before. May have waited a little late to go to 15m but with
a steady stream of callers on 20m it was difficult to QSY. This is one of my
best scores!

Thanks for all the Qs. I hope to put many CWT calls in the log this weekend in
the Florida QSO Party where KN5O and I will be mobile in about 40 counties.
Check out the Counties on the Air page and note the large number of CW stations
that are planning to be active. There'll be lots of CW RF crossing in and out of
FL this weekend! Hope to CU there.

Loudest by far was Steve N8BJQ...a bazillion over s9 in the car. (slight
exaggeration-HI..probably 40-50 s9...who can tell with an LED bar graph less
than an inch tall.)
Fastest: K0RF
Best ears award this morning: K4RUM pulled me out of the ether, seemingly w/o a
hitch. He was perhaps 2 notches above ESP ;-)
