After several hours of configuring the RTTY section of the Remote Rig boxes and my home computer, I was able to put the VY1 multiplier on for all. It was fun to operate from VY1, but also frustrating. Many stations CQed in my face; surprisingly, probably best band to Europe was 40M. I was actually able to CQ and hold a frequency, and had Europeans also call in. I only had a few hours to play this weekend, but it was a lot of fun. A tip to those that want to work VY1AAA- because of its far north location, the station hears much better than it can be heard. If you can hear VY1AAA, call- chances are excellent that we will hear you. Don't let his weak signal keep you from calling, even if all you have is 100w and a dipole. QSL via LOTW. If you want a card, KC1CWF handles the QSL chores. Thanks to all for the Qs, and thanks to Jay VY1JA for the use of his station. I don't know who will be on for ARRL DX CW, but look for some activity. Dennis W1UE/VY1AAA
