This was a WRTC training session with the new call SC9W. Before the start of the contest we found out that SC9W wasn't detected by the Reverse Beacon Network very well. We realized that the CW Skimmer callsign pattern configuration was not suited for our new call. Some Skimmer operators changed their configuration and we got some more spots, but the unchanged Skimmers did spot us very seldom. We used almost a WRTC style set-up 10/15/20: F12 C3@20m with triplexer 40: F12 EF240S @22m 80: inverted V @ 18 m Radios: 2 x K3 Software: DxLog. The score is recalculated with the WinTest WRTC-2018 version Propagation was lousy and the geomagnetic disturbance during resulted in decreased QSO's and multipliers on the high bands. Both stations had some off-periods of 1-2 hours each. We are looking forward to see more results from pre-WRTC operations. 73 Ingo SM5AJV
