I know you all had a good time of it because Murphy took up residence here for this event. Friday night the rotator froze up in the coldest temps we have had in some few years -- couldn't count pulses correctly, and that took about an hour of fussing to get re-calibrated and going again. Saturday meetings etc. slowed high band activity considerably while a head cold started building. Saturday night, in the frigid temps the rotator acted up again. I restored function so I could operate 40M from West clockwise to East and back again. Then, just shy of midnight the primary monitor 'blew up' -- strange raster but no display to work with. At that point the head cold had advanced just enough to convince me that I was on the wrong end of the opportunity curve, so I resigned. The last Q I made with K0AD on 40M was not logged, and by the time I got things worked out so I could retrieve my contest data, I forgot the time I worked him. So apologies to K0AD for my log deficit. When things were working well it was more fun than someone my age is supposed to have. Gotta get this 'stuff' working again. See you in the CW event this next weekend. Thanks for the Qs. 73, Vic, W4VIC
