RIG: TS2000S ANTENNAS: 80/40 Modified Alpha Delta DX-CC at ~9m (NNW <-> SSE) HF "stack" on roof tower 20 HB Moxon @ 12m 15 Rotatable Dipole @ 11m 10 HB 5el yagi @ 10m TIC: ~17 hours Logger: N7YG Digital Engine >> N3FJP's CQ WW DX RTTY Contest Log Ver 1.7 My first CQ WW RTTY contest, after less than a year using RTTY; I'm starting to get the hang of it. My 80 dipole is really too low to be very effective; my best antenna on 10M doesn't hear much these days of no sun; 20 & 40 were the go-to bands, 15 was not bad considering I have only a dipole. It was good to see Randy, K5ZD, spotted on 10; that one contact was only one point but three mults -- thanks Randy! It also led to three more Qs, nine more points, and four more mults. This was also the first time I used on-line scoreboards, a new feature of Scott, N3FJP's, contest SW. It was reasuring to see that I was holding my own and my system was doing as well as I would expect. In the past I often wondered how I was really doing, but watching others' scores helped me to ascertain that all was "OK" with my progress. 73 -- Larry -- W1DYJ
