Deep heart thanks to Ramon LU5HM, Ramuco LU7HE and Monica for hosting this operation. Great contest, great participation and 10 m starting to give solid sings of life again. 15 M was tough till band closed between USA and EU. It was hard to find a place to call CQ both days. Two major Murphy visits, included a two-hour power outage on Saturady afternoon around 20 UTC during high rate hours, so LP1H was off the air for a while. Network hiccup on Sunday forced us to stop the operation for about 40 mins again around 20 UTC. First time suffering long runs of intentional QRM throughout the weekend coming from the South at times. During the last hour it forced us to move our run QRG on 14 Mhz several times. Since we were recording the contest on that operating possition we'll upload the audio clip sometime this week so you can listening and see how tough it can get. Summer QRN was quite high at our location on 80 and 160. The Bevs did not help much with signals coming way too attenuated this far South. Our apologies to those who requested QSY to 160 but it was simple impossible to pull anything out of the QRN. Tnx everyone who gave us a call. The LP1H Team.- 2011 ARRL DX SSB Contest.
