1. How long do score submission forms for contests remain available?
Generally, a score submission form for a contest remains available for about 7 days after the log submission due date for that contest. Exceptions are major contests with 5 to 7 day log submission deadlines - forms are available for 30 days following the contest, and weekly contests - forms are available until the Monday following the week in which the contest was held.
2. How can I submit a score after the submission form for a contest is no longer available?
Contact Bruce Horn, WA7BNM. He can supply one-use links for specific contests in small quantities that can be used to submit scores.
3. How do I correct/update a posting for a contest?
Click on the Correct Previous Submission button near the top of the form and follow the directions.
4. Can I correct/update a posting after its submission form is no longer available?
No, corrections/updates can only be requested while the form for a contest is still active.
5. Why don't I see my updated posting after submitting an update?
All updates to postings are manual. Depending on the number of updates received and WA7BNM's availability, it may take up to 24 hours for the update.
6. How do I delete a posting?
If you need to delete a posting (posted for the wrong contest for example), follow the directions for correcting a posting and then simply indicate in the Comments section of the form that the posting should be deleted and why.
7. How do I get my club added to the drop-down list of contest clubs?
Contact Bruce Horn, WA7BNM. More major club listings are needed for areas outside of North America. For North American clubs that wish to be listed, you should have a history of members posting to 3830scores.com by manually entering the club name in the Other selection of the drop-down. A club must have demonstrated sufficient activity (WA7BNM's discretion) to be included in the list.
8. How do I track the activity of club members across multiple contests?
The activity trackers display a list of all contest activity for a club or group. By default the lists are based on the club selected in the club selector on the score posting form. However, it's possible to upload a list of specific call signs associated with a club, or arbitrary group, so that contest activity is automatically associated with the club/group, regardless of whether a club was selected on the score posting form, based solely on the call signs listed for the entry. This method allows a posting to be associated with more than one club. Contact Bruce Horn, WA7BNM if you are a club representative and wish to upload your club membership. Similarly, contact WA7BNM if you'd like to track the activity of a group of contesters not associated with a specific club.
